I miss the paper bags they used to egt at the grocery stores, the plastic ones are ok, can use them for other uses & to recycle but the paper bags were stronger and I liked that. Wrong Price

Grocery shopping and charged the wrong price on a marked down item in the reduced buggy. They should of given it free to me since the scanner rang up wrong(Pennsylvania Law) but prob. isnt enforced much unless you insist on it and bring it to their attention. my cat

shes so sweet!! She loves other things other than kitty food and dry food and her treats. We sometimes give her Lunchmeat- thin shaved ham, cake icing, yes she has a sweet tooth, just a pea size dob but oh she loves it and tuna but I guess most cats would love tuna, ours likes the juice out of it but eats the tuna too of course. She'll be 20 in a little over 1 month, seems like we've had her longer than that. Our kitty , our friend, our family, our love ..meow !!

We had a Gas line drilled privately by a neighbor on their property the next property over and they finally came to get their port-a-toilets they left behind there from like 3 months ago, whew glad they're gone, could see them from my back patio door and not exactly a beautiful view, *l

Yesterday when I got my drugs from the pharmacy they changed bottle design and labeling. I dont like the new ones, the print is so small on them , as for the bottle itself its okay, medium-dark green, the old ones were brown, ah well Guess they want to revise things, now if Health insurance company would give me back some benefits they took from me, guess that wont happen though, ah well

Lebanon land of the Cedars

I was thinking abt this recently. Wonder if the Cedar trees in Leb. are still dying off? A beautiful lovely land ..it must be Awesome to have that type of tree there, except of course if the trees are dying, then not so good. All my property boasts are weed-like trees of no value but would love to get some nice trees this summer, providing funds would be handy but probably wont but still would love some nice Dogwood or Silver Maple trees. Magnolia are pretty but wont grow here, mmm

Meow

Our kitty is so cute she was just over here by the desk meowing and trying to talk to me, she doesnt do the ordinary little meows cats do, it's as if she telling you something or maybe complaining about something, .. we always laff at her shes such a darling. I guess she wants more kitty food, we have to open up like 8 cans a day till she gets one she likes. I know, why do that, well I tell my husband quit opening so many, she'll eat what she has when she's hungry enough, but nope he's always trying to find one she'll at least take a bit out of and that Fancy Feast is not cheap, well you know what I mean, all you cat lovers, maybe you can relate?

Its been warmer here oh maybe 30 degrees out now but boy does it feel good after all that near zero degree weather and all the snow and what not, so I`m a happy camper right now for the most part.
Sinuses are trying to act up again, have had a huge problem since nov. 2007 but have handled it pretty good without having to see a dr. , all they want usually is to take your money well I can throw my money into herbal and natural ways of helping my sinuses than fill their already money lined pockets, he he

My father used to love watching Football on tv when i was a kid, I remember sitting on his lap and him saying things like- 'He ought to have made that first down, or He fumbled again". I remember that so vividly even thought its been some 45 years ago. He's been gone way too long but it just seems like yesterday.

.. Son's having trouble sleeping, some kind of throat mucous problem it seems like. He has to get up in 6 hours for work so he better hurry up & try to get some sleep in. I hope he isnt getting a bad cold or flu, that wouldn't be good. He usually brings the flu home every year from his work place, ugh!!!!!!!

Lunch time

Well I dont know what to have for lunch. I know big deal, who cares lol. Lunch is usually boring around here guess I'll toss a lean cuisine meal in the micro. I'm really into the Chicken varieties and the fish entrees. They make them pretty good for being low calorie low fat but still poss quite a few carbs which is bad because they'll just go to sugar which will go to fat which translates into love handles .. grrrrrrrrr !

I Heard

my area may miss the big snow storm on Monday- Feb. 2, I'm so hoping so. I'd like to get out to get a flu shot. Should of went long ago but it didnt seem like it was of epidemic portions or anything. It seems it comes to the N.E. in a raging manner around End of Feb and March/April, anyways I am so glad my area might be somewhat spared from the HUGE storm they are forecasting, we'll see

Weather snowy here

It's been snowing here (Eastern Coast USA) for like 6 hours and we have about 4 inches of snow. I really dont want anymore but it did produce some lovely extra puffy huge beautiful snowflakes. Is so pretty just as long as ya dont have to go out in it. Will just stay inside today and enjoy some tv and internet. My Kitty's so funny! ha ha

Our kitty is almost 20 years old(April). We all adore her so so much. It's always so hilarious and cute when she comes running out(yes she can still run at age 19 3/4:) of the bathroom and tears up on a box we have sitting near the hallway near the bathroom. We know how she loves to sit in empty tall cardboard boxes so we keep it there for her to lay in and play in. Her litter box is in the bathroom .. so when we see her coming form the bathroom and going crazy and jumping all around & running ike crazy we know she just did a #2, ahahah, she is so funny and such a sweety girl. Maybe you can relate to something your cat does that you think is just darling?

Harsh Winter

Here in the N.E. we've had a very cold and snowy and sometimes icy winter. Hope it soon ends or at least changes somewhat. It's January 30th and looks like there's no silver lining yet but maybe on Groundhog Day(3 more days) the cute little furry Mr. know-all will help us out. We can only hope! I dont mind cold weather but anything under 20 degrees gets too bone-chilling for me.

Spam is Popular in Hawaii

Who would of thunk? I heard on the Travel Channel .. they even use it in Bakery type products. I like Spam but I don't think I'd like it in any kind of cake, pie or pastry but then I've never tried it, he he
